I firmly believe that the purpose of voice coaching is not to develop a beautiful or perfect voice, but a voice that works for you. A voice that reflects and expresses your thoughts, emotions and opinions.

Proliferic singer Tom Waits has a distinctive and personal voice, once described by a critic as sounding “like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse for a few months, and then taken outside and run over with a car”. And as it turns out, this rough voice leaves no doubt about the hardship of his heart. Here in the 70’s song Please call me, baby
